The ability to be fully present is key for all levels of life — from basic daily tasks like driving and cooking, to more complex cognitive activities such as engaging in conversation. The human brain has evolved so that it can focus on a single task at a time. However, when we are unable to do that yet another facet of our mind takes over — emotions take hold or thoughts wander off track. Those distractions lead us away from what’s important and make us feel less engaged with the world around us.,

“Thoughts and feelings” are two words that you will often hear. They can be difficult to understand, but they play a huge role in our lives. This blog post is meant to help you better understand how thoughts and feelings work.

Did you know that your inner dialogue is made up of ideas and emotions that you’ve experienced throughout your life?

Isn’t that a huge aha moment?

What are your thoughts about who you are? Are you more sensitive or reactionary to your surroundings and circumstances?

On a daily basis, you are bombarded with so many external opinions that you might easily get provoked. Your subconscious has thoroughly implanted these triggering notions in you.

Here’s something to ponder. What steps can you take to become more conscious of your feelings? 

When you become more aware of your thoughts and emotions, you will be able to adjust your reactions when they are triggered. Rather of reacting, begin to come from a position of self-love. What is the best way for you to get this from your heart?

When I’m among individuals that irritate me, I always keep telling myself – “Everyone is doing the best they can at any given time.”

Your emotions and ideas might prevent you from standing tall and following through on your goals. Negative and limiting thoughts may also lead to sickness.

The mind-body link is genuine, and it may either help or hinder your recovery.

Keep in mind that your body believes anything you say.
